Meet the Team

Gayle Newcomb

Founder & Managing Director

Gayle Newcomb has experience in procurement, negotiations, mediation and conflict resolution, economic development strategies and training.  Project management, public forum coordination, community outreach, and research/project reporting.  Management background includes budgeting, goal setting, contracts, business and tactical planning, strategic planning, policy development, and internal/external customer/supplier interaction.

 

Gayle Newcomb received a BS in Physics from Xavier University of Louisiana and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and A & M College. Newcomb joined the United States Peace Corp as a Volunteer, where she worked with At-Risk Youth in Jamaica, West Indies. Ms. Newcomb worked for the Federal Government in the Department of Health and Human Services.

 

Ms. Newcomb is the President of the Women’s Innovation Group and Director of Supplier Diversity for the Asian American Business Association.

Joseph Newcomb

Senior Business Developer

Joe Newcomb has over 10 years’ experience as a dedicated and competitive management professional possessing a track record of performance enhancement, seeking to utilize previous experience in Facilities, Operations and Project Management. Joe has developed an understanding of Operational Optimization, Warehousing, 3PL, Team Building/ Mentorship, Fulfillment, Logistics, IT Hardware Sales, Strategic Reporting, P&L Management. As well as Collective Bargaining, Procurement, Distribution, Recruiting and Regulatory Compliance for the advancement of initiatives as well as controlling cost on behalf organizational growth.

 

Mr. Newcomb holds an Associate in Art from Triton College.

Linda Kelly

Senior Consultant Manager

Linda Kelly has a wide-ranging experience in the [business sourcing management and implementation] arena, including procurement, negotiations, economic development and training. Project management, community outreach, research/project reporting.

 

Kelly is currently responsible for planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and evaluating supplier diversity programs which are designed to promote and ensure equitable contracting and procurement opportunities for Minority and Women Owned Businesses (M/WBEs), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Small Business Enterprise (SBE).  She provides development, financial, and management counseling services to vendors/contractors. Provides sourcing and procurement strategies in response to client’s needs. Delivers specialized curriculum development and training.  

 

Kelly holds a Master of Public Administration from Roosevelt University, a Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University, and the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council’s Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) designation.
